About the role
Loudhailer is best known for consumer PR, but our fastest-growing revenue line is owned content for B2B clients — a logistics group, a professional services firm, an enterprise software company and a family office. They all arrived with the same problem: plenty to say, no system for saying it.
We are creating a Content Marketing Lead role to run that practice properly. You will inherit a writer, a designer at fifty per cent, and four clients on retainer. Within a year we expect the practice to be six people and to have a defensible methodology we can sell rather than improvise.
This is a builder's job. There is no playbook waiting for you in a shared drive — you are here to write it, then teach it to everyone else.
What you'll do
- Set annual content strategy for four B2B accounts, mapped to their commercial pipeline rather than to a publishing calendar.
- Lead the editorial process end to end: commissioning, interviewing client experts, structural editing and final sign-off.
- Build the distribution layer — SEO, LinkedIn, email programmes and paid amplification — and report on what it produced.
- Develop the practice's methodology, templates and pricing model with the Managing Director.
- Hire and lead a growing team, starting with a second writer and a content strategist.
- Sit in new-business conversations as the content lead and convert them.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in content marketing, editorial or brand journalism, including at least two leading a team.
- A track record with B2B content that produced measurable pipeline effects, and the analytics honesty to say when it did not.
- Excellent English writing and editing — this practice publishes in English first.
- Business-level Cantonese for interviewing local client executives who prefer not to be interviewed in English.
- Real SEO competence: search intent, information architecture, and knowing which of the twenty metrics in the dashboard matter.
Nice to have
- Newsroom or trade-publication background.
- Experience with 繁體中文 content programmes running alongside English.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and lead scoring.
What you get
- 13th month salary plus discretionary bonus
- Hybrid — two fixed office days, the rest flexible
- 21 days annual leave
- Medical, dental and a HK$25,000 annual learning budget
- Sponsorship support for eligible candidates, including IANG holders
