About the role
Our Management Trainee Programme takes six graduates a year and moves them through four six-month-ish rotations: distribution centre operations, transport and last mile, network planning, and either customer solutions or procurement depending on where you show promise. Each rotation ends with a project you present to the operations leadership team.
This is deliberately not a graduate scheme where you make slide decks. In rotation one you will be on the DC floor at 07:00 learning to run a wave. In rotation two you will sit in the transport control centre. We take the view that nobody should plan a network they have never physically stood in.
You get a mentor from the senior team, a peer cohort of five others, and a named sponsor at director level who reviews your progress every quarter. Trainees who complete the programme move into an assistant manager role — eleven of the last thirteen did.
What you'll do
- Rotate through DC operations, transport, network planning and a commercial function over 18 months
- Deliver one improvement project per rotation with a measurable target agreed at the start
- Cover supervisory shifts on the DC floor and in the transport control centre, including some weekends
- Build and maintain operational reporting for the function you are sitting in
- Join customer site visits and tender preparation sessions as a note-taker, then as a contributor
- Present at the quarterly operations review to the leadership team
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree awarded in 2025 or 2026 in any discipline — logistics is welcome but not required
- Fluent Cantonese and English; Mandarin at conversational level or better
- Right to work in Hong Kong, including IANG graduates
- Willing to be based in Kwai Chung and to work shift patterns during operational rotations
- Evidence that you finish things — a society you actually ran, a part-time job you held for two years, a project you shipped
Nice to have
- Internship or part-time work in logistics, retail operations or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Excel beyond VLOOKUP, or any exposure to SQL
- A driving licence — useful for the transport rotation
What you get
- Structured 18-month rotation with a named director-level sponsor
- Salary reviewed at every rotation, not just annually
- 17 days annual leave from day one
- Medical and dental cover plus annual body check
- Full sponsorship for APICS CPIM or a CILT qualification during the programme
- Free shuttle from Kwai Fong MTR
