About the role
The group revenue team sits in our Hung Hom support office and sets rates for roughly 1,800 rooms a night across four Hong Kong properties. Everything we decide shows up in the numbers within seven days, which makes it one of the more satisfying analytical jobs in hospitality and one of the least forgiving.
This 12-month contract covers a maternity leave and a system migration running in parallel — we are moving from a spreadsheet-plus-instinct forecast to a proper revenue management platform, and the transition needs a pair of hands that can hold both. You will own the daily pickup analysis, the 90-day forecast for two of the four properties, and the competitor rate-shopping routine.
You will work with the Director of Revenue, the e-commerce team and the four front office managers. It is a genuinely good seat for someone who wants hotel revenue management on their CV without waiting three years for the seat to open, and we do convert contracts to permanent when the headcount allows.
What you'll do
- Run the daily pickup and pace analysis across four properties and flag the days that need a rate action
- Maintain the rolling 90-day forecast for two assigned properties, and explain the variance to actual each week
- Manage rate loading and parity across the brand site, OTAs and the GDS, and chase down the discrepancies
- Produce the weekly revenue meeting pack — segment mix, ADR, RevPAR, and the competitor set
- Support the migration to the new revenue management platform: data validation, parallel running and user testing
- Model the revenue impact of group and banquet enquiries so sales can price them properly
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in hotel revenue management, reservations analytics, airline pricing or a comparable analytical role
- Advanced Excel — model building, not just formatting — and comfort with large messy data
- Understanding of ADR, RevPAR, pace, pickup and segment mix as concepts you can actually explain to a general manager
- Business English; this team works in English and the role is open to non-Cantonese speakers
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, hospitality or business discipline
Nice to have
- Hands-on with IDeaS, Duetto or a comparable RMS
- SQL or Power BI for self-service reporting
- Experience of a system migration or data-cleanup project
What you get
- Hybrid — two days remote once you are through onboarding
- Pro-rated 13th month on completion of the contract
- Visa sponsorship available, IANG holders welcome
- Discounted stays across the group's properties
- Funded RMS certification during the contract
